Tornado: Hits one of our own |
Dear Fellow Club Calf Producers,
As you may or may not know, there was a horrendous tornado that
passed through north central Iowa on Sunday, May 25. It caused
tremendous damage in a great part of that section of the state,
including one of our own club calf producers, that being Todd (Bucky)
Neil. He and Alysa have seen great loss. They lost every building on
their farm. Several of Bucky’s club calf herd of cows had to be
destroyed from the damage. He lost several calves as well, from
broken legs to severe cuts from tin and flying debris. About every
cow left has blotches of skin gone from the damage. His house may
not be repairable as well. They will be without hog building rental
and club calf sale this fall.
As their club calf friends and neighbors, we are taking monetary
donations to help them through this tough time. Please reach in your
checkbook and send a generous donation to them, via the Midwest Club
Calf Producers Group. Please send as soon as possible.
